Not too long ago I bought the camera for my computer and actually hardly used it, from time to time in SKYPE. Anyway last week I proudly hooked it up to my laptop to record my very first video because the built-in camera and mic leaves a lot to be desired.
I got a high quality picture but the sound was horrible. Echo loops, echo loops no matter what I did. I got in touch with people Kimberley Castelberry in my tribe for help and got some good ideas what to try like turning off everything else like headset and mic, built-in mic and camera – nothing really helped. Another tribal member Jon Alfredsson reminded me to check on it in the device manager what I did. The result was the same endless echo loops.
After so much trying I was almost ready to give up on it, but gave it another try.
Here is the solution – the drivers have been outdated.
Open the Control Panel –> System & Maintenance --> Scroll down to Device Manger –> Open Update device drivers
Scroll to Image devices –> Choose the camera/device you want to check for driver updates –> RIGHT click on the device –>in the scroll-down menu hit DRIVER SOFTWARE UPDATE and just wait until the update is finished.
By the way here you can turn off the devices you’re not using at least temporarily and reverse and turn it on again at your convenience.

The challenge with an “independent” cursor (hopping around by itself on the screen) on my laptop follow these steps:
Shut your laptop down completely –> Unhook each and everything including power cord, USB connections, external hard drives, flash drives, dock station – just everything. –> Now take out the battery unit–> wait at least 10 sec. and then hit the power button on your laptop and hold it down at least 30 sec better one minute to release all electro statics (they cause the jumping of the cursor).
Finish the procedure –> put the battery pack back in and hook up whatever needs to be hooked up and turn on your laptop. That should have had solved that problem.
