Great post! This is what I like about Paulo Coehlo’s writings. The wordplay is great, sensitive and very deep. All great things will start from a simple good thing or deed. This is something everyone should keep in mind. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Sam,
thanks for stopping by. Wonderful ideas for a list of 100 things to do before I die. One question what would you like to be famous for?
Just two days ago I started a new list of hundred things I want to do before I die. I traveled many countries in my life already but there are some place left I would like to see and spend some time there like Anchor Wat in Cambodia and Tibet, and a long white beach somewhere in the Caribbean together with my kids and grand-kids, who live in Europe and I don’t see them very often. Just a few things from my list.

3. watch the launch of the space shuttle.
4. be a bodybuilder.
5. bungee jumpn from 1000 ft or +.
6. to learn swiming.
7. to be famous.
8. skydiving.
9. visit north and south pole of the earth.

A big Thank you for your comment and sorry for the a very belated response to your comment.

Isn’t it fantastic how fast things change? The teachings of human communication in the eighties, when NLP (NeuroLinguisticProgramming) was for most people something mysterious, even dangerous – feared as to be manipulated without knowing it? I’ve been studying NLP from the early nineties on. I was teaching and certifying studends in NLP. My approach was always similar to what is called nowadays the Law of Attraction. I can remember a training with Robert Dilts at that time, when he was using those words the first time. The Law of Attraction was there long before somebody made a movie called the “Secret” .

… implicit believes and re affirmations. Yes!

It´s amazing how Sciences trend to discover what some thinking systems have been affirming forever.

The idea of how our cultural behaviors conditions our perception of reality and so, “the reality itself as it happens to us” (Neuro Linguistics Programming) have been studied lately re taking principles that were studied by the Palo Alto School on The Human Communication Theory in the sixties and seventies.

However, this approaches on the power of the individual to condition his/her reality, (environment and health included) have been the principle of Zen Buddhism and Hinduism, ever since.

There is a great set of conferences about this topic by Bill Harris from Centerpointe Research Institute.
